In the recent Infineon’s 2023 OSAT Supplier Quality Day hosted in DoubleTree Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Ms. Elaine Fok, Director of Quality Assurance, represented the ASEM team to join this notable event, celebrating quality excellence and achievement across the supply chain partners of Infineon.
Both ASEM NLoZD (Next Level of Zero Defects) projects were awarded in the Top 10 Best Project Award, with "Wirebond Improvement – Unbonded Units Reduction” qualified as the Top 5 and "Package Scratches Reduction" project qualified as the Top 10. In the first aforementioned project, we were able to see significant reduction in unbonded unit rejects, decreasing from 0.22% in Q4'22 to an impressive 0.04% in Q3'23. Whereas, in the second project, we also witnessed a remarkable outcome of package scratch reduction from 105ppm in Q4'22 to 37ppm in Q3'23.
