The Breaking of Fast has been a yearly must-have event as it embraces diversity and inclusivity. It brings our employees together to celebrate and experience the traditions of Ramadan. As a special gesture of gratitude, our HODs take the opportunity to personally serve food to our dedicated staff.

The mobile food trucks bring a unique and flavorful twist to the traditional workplace dining options. It also provides an opportunity for employees to come together, share a meal, and connect with colleagues in a relaxed setting.

As part of ASEM's commitment to sustainability, we actively engage in beach-cleaning initiatives to ensure the well-being of our coastal ecosystems. Our recent outing was the cleaning of Pantai Teluk Bayu, Teluk Kumbar. By taking responsibility for the cleanliness of our beaches, we strive to create a positive impact on the environment and inspire others to do the same. After the beach cleanup, we dedicated some time to engaging in team-building activities.

As part of our commitment to serving our community and fostering goodwill, we sponsored the distribution of free food to devotees and participants during Thaipusam. Our free food distribution during this festival is rooted in the belief that nourishing the body also nourishes the soul. By providing wholesome meals to devotees, participants, and visitors, we seek to cultivate a sense of unity, inclusivity, and harmony within the community.

We believe in the power of education and the well-being of our communities. In response to the ongoing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, ASEM has stepped forward to donate test kits to 10 public schools. This endeavor aims to promote a safe learning environment and support the efforts of educators, students, and families in navigating these unprecedented times.

One powerful way we contribute to the well-being of our community is through blood donation. We are proud to organize regular blood drives and encourage our employees to join us in this endeavor. By participating in blood donation drives, we become active contributors to the well-being of our community and help address the constant demand for this life-sustaining resource. The event was livened up with a host of activities such as diet counseling, health screenings, and the promotion of health supplements. Thank you once again for being a lifesaver!

At ASEM, we believe in the power of giving back to our community. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic over the past few years, many special needs schools and homes have been affected, with little support from their regular donors. In light of this situation, Service Civil International Penang (SCI) has launched an initiative through "Gift of Love Charity Food Fair" to raise funds at the Center for Special Children Penang. ASEM is thankful for the opportunity to contribute to their cause by sponsoring two food stalls and generating RM 5000. All proceeds went directly to aid ten organizations. Thank you.
